How to enroll

At Future Stars, we offer volunteer placement opportunities exclusively within the Buduburam community, focusing on our impactful Future Stars projects. These initiatives support children and youth through education, mentorship, and community-based programs that foster growth and development.

Volunteer placements range from 2 weeks to 3 months, depending on the availability and interests of the participant. We welcome individuals from around the world who are committed to contributing meaningfully to our mission.

Our placement process ensures that each volunteer is thoughtfully matched to a role that aligns with their skills and interests, allowing them to make a positive and lasting impact. We work to provide a safe, supportive, and impactful environment for both volunteers and the young individuals they serve.

From your initial inquiry through to your arrival and engagement on the ground, our team offers full support to make your volunteering journey effective, respectful, and rewarding.

Program Fees and Registration

Program fees vary based on the duration of stay and the specific placement. To secure a placement, all volunteers are required to pay a non-refundable registration deposit of $100.

For those participating in medical volunteer placements—including elective or internship programs—an additional placement fee of $200 applies.

Under no circumstance will a volunteer be asked to pay any additional fees upon arrival in Ghana after completing the required payments.

Volunteers have the option to pay the full program fee before arrival or upon arrival in Ghana.

Program Extensions

Volunteers who wish to extend their stay or program duration while in Ghana may apply for an extension, subject to availability and visa regulations.
